What is Donate Nation

Donate Nation is a Non-profit company that has been setup to make donating easier and more transparent

Who can apply for a Donate Nation account?

Any registered Non-prfit entity (NPO, PBO, Foundation, Trust NGO or sport club) in good standing and recongised by local goverment.
The entity applying for a charity account is required to have a bank account opened in the name of the entity. (This may not be a personal bank account).

This will give the organisation pull access to the Donate Nation digital app and all its donors.

Can I apply on behalf of my charity?

Yes, when completing the application form, you have to confirm that you have the necessary authority to act on behalf of your charity. If you have any questions or need assistance at this point, please contact our support team for further assistance.

Will Donate Nation charge my charity to use the App?

No, the application is free to use for organisations. All donations made on the Donate Nation App are processed by Donate Nation NPO, a Non-profit organisation. Donate Nation does not charge any monthly service fees, and deducts the applicable donation and transaction fees before transfer to your account.

What info does Donate Nation need to sign up my registered charity?

When applying to Donate Nation, you will need the following information on hand:

  • The name and e-mail address of your charities the primary user
  • A short description of your charity’s purpose and background
  • Your charity’s official physical address
  • Your charity’s official bank account details for receiving donations

Once all has been submitted, we will require a bank confirmation letter, containing the charities bank details.

Is Donate Nation PCI compliant?

Yes, we use verified 3rd party payment providers who sue PCI DSS ( Payment card industry data security standard) that ensures ll companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment.
