For 66 years our “Suzy Doll” stood in shopping malls and convenience stores as a ‘fundraiser’ for the work of the Western Cape Cerebral Palsy Association.

With the passage of time she slowly became the face of disability from a different era, and as such she has now ‘retired’.

However, the public outreach she represented has not retired because the services we provide are more vital than ever. We serve a public with disabilities, people who are recognised as valuable members of society, not to be ostracised and sent to care facilities. With the right care, facilities and encouragement people with disabilities can contribute to society.
